Zieby

Terms

The deal, in plain words

These are the terms for using Zieby, whether you create an event or shoot at one. They are short on purpose.

LAST UPDATED 4 SEPTEMBER 2026

Who you are dealing with

Zieby is a product of United Sum B.V., registered in the Netherlands (Chamber of Commerce 98236733). Dutch law applies, and Dutch courts have jurisdiction, without taking away any protection you have as a consumer where you live.

What Zieby is

Zieby gives every guest at an event a disposable camera on their own phone. The host creates the event and gets a code. Guests scan it and shoot a fixed number of photos. The photos stay closed until the host reveals them, and then everyone at the event can see them.

What you may not do

We can hide photos, remove guests or close events that break these rules, and we will if asked to by someone with a good reason.

How long things are kept

Memories are kept for three months, counted from the event date or from the reveal if that comes later. Before anything is removed the album is marked and given thirty more days. After that the photos are gone, and we cannot bring them back. Download what you want to keep.

Price

While we are starting out, Zieby is free, with no guest limit. If that changes, it will say so on the website before you create an event, never afterwards for an event you already made.

What we promise, and what we do not

We work hard to keep the service up and the photos safe, and we say plainly how long we keep them. We cannot promise a phone will have signal in a marquee, that every photo a guest takes will arrive, or that the service will never be interrupted. Zieby is provided as it is, and our liability is limited to what the law does not allow us to exclude. For a paid service, it is in any case limited to what you paid.

Privacy

What we store and for how long is on the privacy page. It is part of these terms.

Changes

If these terms change in a way that matters, the date at the top changes with it, and an event you already created keeps the terms it was created under.
